How to choose UPSMethods for choosing UPS for boiler, computer, refrigerator and other equipment
good model, liked it
28 March 2016
An inexpensive power supply for the home that works well for its money. The cost is very pleasing, especially at the current rate. It is used mainly for the computer, so that there is time to finish all the work and turn off the equipment in case of power outages. There is special software with which you can view various parameters of the device operation on a computer. The software is in Russian, so it is easy to use.
The device is able to protect the connected equipment from power surges, which happen often. Without an uninterruptible power supply, I was constantly afraid that the computer would simply burn out at one fine moment, but now there is nothing to worry about. Helps out when power goes out for just a few seconds by switching to battery operation. When there is a voltage drop in the wiring, the device reports this by flipping a switch. You can finally hear how imperfect our electrical networks are.
There is a slight inconvenience: when the light is turned off, the UPS starts beeping very loudly. Everything happens so suddenly that I was scared several times. If it gets too strong, the sound can be turned off. The software is very old, it feels like it was made a decent number of years ago. I also did not like the slightly flimsy power connector, although if you connect the device once and do not touch it, then nothing bad will happen to the terminals. I do not like the modest display, because there is no screen, and there is only one luminous button.
