Good kettle. Bought on 05.2019 for 1200 UAH. Doesn't stink inside. Expensive look. Not very loud (when boiling). Whole flask. So far not seen.  Dima 777: use Philips Viva Collection HD9329/06 week i recommend it should buy |
This is exactly what I was looking for. Everything about it is great: seamless flask, double walls, a normal spout shape so that water doesn’t spill, it turns off when removed from the base (my previous Tefal didn’t have this), it boils quickly, switches off fast enough when boiling, the lid opens wide enough, it’s a known brand that gives hope for long-lasting performance. The only minor downside: it only comes in one red color, which doesn’t quite match my kitchen, but that's a minor detail. To me, this is an almost perfect kettle. It seemed like the body was aluminum on the outside, but nope, it's glossy plastic - it wouldn't survive in my kitchen.
The stand tapers downwards (unstable design). The cord comes out through a groove in the stand. The new cord was crumpled and quite stiff, so it involuntarily lifted the stand when trying to route it through the groove. As a result, the entire structure with the kettle seemed quite shaky. I didn't want to risk it with boiling water.
I specifically chose Philips, as all the appliances at home are from this company, but unfortunately, this mishap happened.
