Does a full frame make a difference? Is it worth buying a full-frame camera?Do I need to spend money on an expensive full frame or is it better to buy a cropped camera?..

Decoding Nikon Camera Series and Model LabelsIn this article, we will focus on decoding Nikon camera series.
State-of-the-art full-frame sensor without anti-aliasing filter that delivers huge dynamic range and superb detail. I note that these advantages are fully preserved at high ISO values. Up to 3200 there is no noise in principle. But even noisy shots at insane 12800 ISOs are processable and can be brought to perfection with DXO Optics Pro. The minimum ISO value of 64 is also extremely useful, sometimes I like to shoot wide open (Nikon 24-70 F2.8 lens). In short, 36 honest megapixels give room for further editing. Fast burst shooting, nice and incredibly fast HDR mode. Still, the new EXPEED 4 processor is a significant step forward in terms of performance. 1080p at 60fps is amazing. The USB interface allows you to very quickly merge photos to your computer. In fact, due to the large size of the images, this option is faster than using a card reader. 5 megabytes of uncompressed RAW files fly through fast USB at lightning speed. It is convenient to work simultaneously with two memory cards. On one I write RAW files, on the other JPEG files. The case has not only a convenient shape, but also dust and water protection. A capacious battery that allows you to take more than 700-800 shots and a really informative (hello Canon))) five-segment charge indicator. When shooting a video, the sound of the autofocus is clearly audible. That is, to maintain normal sound, you need an external microphone. |
soft shutter and slightly softer mirror, but it's not comparable to the last Fujifilm H-1 fudge, there it's like there's no shutter at all, well, you just don't feel it at all, though the sensor and shutter size are half as small there, but still))) the exposure still needs to be +1-12 frames, that is, it's better to shoot at 50mm on 1/125 or shorter if without impulse) the screen and live view seem to be a little better and clearer, the shutter's lifespan, according to 5 colleagues, barely reaches 280-300 thousand, and after that, you have to pay 20 thousand for replacement. Speaking of which, the old D800E models go over 870+ thousand for my good friend and they work just fine. The rubber grips on mine started peeling after 15 thousand. NIKON, did you do this on purpose? Even on the dinosaur D3 and D700, they only start to come off after 100-150 thousand. It's said that the front part is made of plastic? Meaning the bayonet isn't attached to a metal body but plastic, which is extremely unfortunate for professional use. Also, I almost forgot; I've changed the memory card compartment cover twice because either the latch broke or something else happened, so be careful with this. |

Honestly and openly, without any... pros and cons, I was able to master the Nikon D800E, and got tasty and sellable commercial images. But in this device, the reddish-brown skin tone just knocked me out, I only saw a dumber picture on the D7000 and D600 - in bad mixed lighting, here the WB always adds blue spectrum to the channels, ruining all the color. Or maybe I just didn't get a feel for it after shooting 5 weddings and several dozen commercial projects for magazines and stores over the year.
