SLR camera, designed primarily for novice users and has the appropriate set of characteristics. However, compared to the previous model of the same class Nikon D3200, it has acquired a number of improvements. One of the most significant is that the D3300 camera is equipped with the new Expeed 4 processor. In addition, the APS-C format matrix has lost the low-pass filter; its resolution is the same 24.2 megapixels, but the sensitivity has increased to ISO 100 — 12,800 (expanded to 25,600). The camera is equipped with a 3" 921k-pixel display and an optical viewfinder with a frame coverage of 95%. The continuous shooting speed is 5 fps, Full HD video is supported. The kit includes a lens.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Nikon D3300 kit 18-55 is a lightweight and compact digital SLR camera, praised for its functionality and sharp image quality. It features a high ISO sensitivity of 6400, making it effective for low-light conditions, and is particularly noted for its performance in panoramas. The camera's large sensor with 24.2 effective megapixels allows for significant cropping without loss of detail. Users appreciate the bright and contrasty rear display, which remains visible even in sunlight. The automatic exposure metering and white balance work well, although adjustments may be needed under artificial lighting. Video recording is smooth in Full HD 50p, with accurate autofocus and an option for external microphone input. However, the HDR mode is considered subpar, and focusing in LiveView can be slow. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Nikon D3300 is deemed a reliable and cost-effective choice, especially for those transitioning from older models like the D60.

Definitely take it.

I bought it as a replacement for the D60. I am 146% satisfied with the non-wedding bomb. The kit lens is good, compact, the front lens does not rotate.

Decent camera. There are not enough stars from the sky, but it's worth the money. Definitely

Received this carcass as a prize for winning a photo contest. Now I have two DSLRs - this Nikon and Canon 6D. So the prize came in very handy, now Nikon will be a field camera.
The camera is lightweight and compact. Without the lens, it weighs up to 500 grams, and with the Nikon 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED, it's slightly over 900 grams. The body is plastic with rubber grips in the necessary places. The rear display is good, bright, and contrasty, clearly visible from any angle, and performs well in the sunlight. The exposure metering and white balance in automatic mode perform excellently, except under artificial lighting with incandescent bulbs. In this case, both the exposure needs to be adjusted (upward) and the appropriate white balance mode selected. You can shoot without the risk of frame noise up to ISO 1600; beyond that, noise becomes noticeable and built-in filter post-processing is necessary.
The video records in FullHD 50p format. The autofocus during video recording is surprisingly accurate and stable. On the Canon 6D, the video autofocus constantly hunts and often misses. For quality sound, there's an input for an external microphone and level adjustment - everything works as it should.
The battery is commendable, lasting very long without the flash.
The handling after using the Canon 6D seems inconvenient. Each manufacturer has its quirks, and it will take some getting used to.
We turn on live view, and the focusing takes a second or even longer. I've already given up hope on seeing a DSLR that can focus quickly in LiveView.
