This model is positioned by the manufacturer as a "social ultra-reason", and there is every reason for such a characteristic. The Nikon Coolpix L840 digital camera features a 38x optical zoom lens with built-in Image Stabilizer, and connectivity options include Wi-Fi and NFC for connecting to a smartphone/tablet for sharing or remote control. Of the "photographic" characteristics, it is also worth mentioning a 16-megapixel matrix, continuous shooting at a speed of 7.4 fps, video recording in Full HD and a 3" rotary display with 921K dots. The camera is powered by 4 AA batteries (up to 390 shots on charge).

great model, love it
4 March 2016
Over the year, with the 830, I shot a bunch of videos with sound; on February 23rd, we sat in front of the plasma screen covering the entire wall and didn't look away from the magnificent views - it's all there, familiar as if on the palm of your hand, and in excellent quality.
compared to the 830, the matrix is more light-sensitive. The use of batteries and accumulators is very convenient - when filming a movie in the taiga, four sets lasted for 12 hours of video. There's a possibility for seemingly participating in the shooting.
No. It's true that at maximum zoom, you need to adjust by pressing the focus, but the resolution is exquisite. In China, poor performance sometimes leads to severe consequences, and you can feel that.
use Nikon Coolpix L840 month or more i recommend it should buy
I do not recommend buying this model, it's better to look for other ultra-zooms.

no advantages
Today, 04/17/2004, I went to the store to buy this model. After reviewing tons of camera models and their reviews, I settled on this one. I couldn't find any reviews for this model online because it's a new model. So essentially, I went to buy a "pig in a poke." Before going to the store, I read a bunch of articles online. I took my laptop to the store to check the trial shots. When I used the zoom, as I adjusted it closer to the maximum, the sharpness disappeared, and capturing a shot became impossible because everything "blurred" on the display, and nothing was visible. When I painstakingly managed to zoom in on price tags in the store, the text was very blurred when viewed on the laptop. I also used the zoom to photograph a painting, but it was hard to make out anything during playback in the store, especially the text. Disappointed with the model, I returned it to the seller and went home to search for other ultra-zooms online.
just bought Nikon Coolpix L840  i recommend it don't buy
normal model, nothing special

i don't see the usage instructions yet, I just started taking photos but I don't know how to set some mode. And I don't know where to find that out either. It seems to me that some phones take better pictures.
for now, without a regular camera, I think I should have gotten a simple point-and-shoot.
just bought Nikon Coolpix L840
