Stylish and high-quality ultrabook with a stunning high-resolution 13.5-inch touch screen and long battery life. The manufacturer is positioned as a middle-class device designed for office work, surfing and educational purposes. The body of the ultrabook is made in a minimalist style, all external surfaces are made of durable and lightweight aluminium alloy. The display is almost completely covered with Gorilla Glass III protective glass, and the upper surface (the area around the keyboard) is covered with tactilely pleasant artificial suede - Alcantara.
It has high wear resistance and is tactilely pleasant. The Core i5-7200U dual-core processor, clocked at up to 3.1 GHz, interacts with 4 GB of internal LPDDR3-1866 RAM and a 128 GB SSD. The graphics card of the Microsoft Surface Laptop uses the integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics core in the processor. This hardware configuration is characterized by average computing performance and basic 3D graphics output capabilities.
The 13.5-inch IPS touchscreen with PixelSense technology has a resolution of 2256x1504 and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It has an improved contrast ratio of 1500:1, extended colour reproduction and the highest possible viewing angles. The laptop is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard, one USB 3.0 port, an HD webcam and a face scanner module with FaceID technology support. The high energy efficiency of the hardware modules used allows the battery to provide up to 14 hours of battery life.

1. Frankly, 4 GB of RAM is quite low in 2018, even browsing causes some lag.
2. The work surface made of Alcantara near the keyboard gets dirty easily, but it can be wiped clean with wet wipes.
3. The face scanner is top-notch. It works almost flawlessly.
4. The "keyboard" has backlighting in three brightness levels, comfortable and quiet.
5. Excellent display quality, but the non-standard aspect ratio is not always convenient. The touchscreen works without issues.
6. The charger connects to the laptop like in old Macs, which is not always convenient if used on the lap.
7. The battery is excellent, lasts 3-4 hours without problems.
8. The build quality is top-notch, nothing to complain about.
