It saves the day when installing and storing large and heavy volumes of graphic materials. The data transfer speed is decent for the USB >3 generation. I bought it in August but only started using it actively after school began. Here's what I've found out over these 1.5 months. Indeed, as mentioned in reviews, it's very quiet, almost silent, but there are suspicions that over time, like all electronics, it will wear out and start making noise. Connector. It connects to the computer just fine, doesn't come loose from the disk itself. Slight bump, and it stops working properly.
