It saves the day when installing and storing large and heavy volumes of graphic materials. The data transfer speed is decent for the USB >3 generation. Even though it says here that it is impact-resistant, it's better not to intentionally test its durability. After all, anything can happen. Losing 500 gigs of photos and personal data in an instant is not like just breaking a phone. This is more serious. Pleasant to the touch soft-touch plastic, or is it rubber like that. The copying speed is much higher than that of simple USB drives, at least 2 times faster. I rarely use the backup button, somehow it's more customary to do it all manually. When checking, I noticed an interesting feature: the light indicator changes color from blue to orange when switching to USB 2.0. I think there’s no point in buying hard drives with the old interface anymore, it's better to look to the future and choose more modern models. Quick interface. Nice rubberized casing, won't slip out of your hand. Although if it does slip and fall, it won't break. Well, I hope so anyway. I'm not planning to throw it on a concrete floor or tiles on purpose. There's a backup button. I'm not sure if I need it, but it's good to have. As for data transfer speed: it's not 10 times faster than USB 2.0, but somewhere around 3-4 times faster. And that's good enough. I was surprised that the hard drive was initially formatted in FAT32. Strange for such a new device. Nowadays, NTFS is used everywhere.
