I fill oil into a 2018 Mitsubishi Lancer with a 1.8 liter engine. The car cost me about a million rubles, so I decided not to skimp on the oil. I don’t remember what kind of oil it was filled with from the factory, but I immediately started filling it with Special Tek AA 5W-30. An excellent oil that can be used all year round. It does not need to be topped up because it does not burn away. The car does not make any unnecessary sounds and always starts with half a turn. The only downside is the price tag, which is decent by Russian standards. But if you pour this oil into an expensive foreign car, then the costs will more than pay off. The oil is good, I’ve been pouring it into my Nissan Almera for four years now, I started using it on the recommendation of a friend’s service technician. Good oil for a modest price tag for the Western market. The oil does not burn, there is no knocking in the engine itself, the exhaust is normal. When they underwent scheduled maintenance, there was almost no carbon deposits. We disassembled the engine and thought that something would need to be changed, since the machine was already old. Together with the master, we looked at all the ins and outs of my engine, it turned out that nothing serious needed to be changed, only the standard fuel consumption. I regularly purchase this oil for my 2011 Kia. The engine runs smoothly with it, the interior stays clean, and it operates steadily without excessive noise. It starts without problems in winter frosts. There's no need to top up the oil between changes, with replacements every 9-10 thousand km. Overall, the oil is versatile and all-season, making it perfect for both winter and summer. It performs excellently in its main role!
