I took a long time to choose oil for my Mercedes, as contract engines for them are quite expensive. There aren't too many oils under my approval 229.52, so I managed to read reviews for each candidate. As of today, this is one of the optimal oils in terms of price and quality ratio. The oil is all-season and allows for extended replacement intervals. I limited it to 12,000 kilometers, but I think with good fuel, you could try 15,000. Over several years, I've had no engine problems, and I consider that a good result. No downsides, moreover, I am sure that for a German engine it fits perfectly.
