Good monitor for the money. The only thing that bothered me was the stand FreeSync On the monitor, you can choose between two modes: 48-144 and 120-144. The difference is that if you select the first option, the operation of LFC is almost imperceptible. If you choose the second option, the LFC algorithm kicks in when the frame rate drops below 120, and the picture becomes as smooth as possible. Flicker Free I didn't quite see any differences here, so there's nothing much to say. Screen The matrix is good, but there are better ones that cost more. The brightness is excellent, but with its nuances. Adjustment is only for tilt. No height and side adjustment. The brightness, although high, has too low a minimum threshold, so even at zero it shines quite well. The monitor mount is quite flimsy, and the stand material itself is not very good, it is rather flimsy, so any movement of the table and the monitor starts to wobble. ![]() |
A good option for the money, I saw here that it was selling for around 4400, but I got it even cheaper. G-sync(freesync) works fine. I didn't understand what "Dynamic Action Sync" is. The crosshair feature is something I don't care about, but the "Black Stabilizer" is quite a useful option, I use it. There is also a sharpness setting, I'm not sure if there's anything else worth mentioning in the specifications, but it's not listed, yet it's also a useful feature. Budget-friendly, minimalist, workhorse. No backlight bleeding. Everything is very smooth and pleasant compared to the previous monitor with 60Hz. After that, set 144Hz in the video card driver settings, as I needed to because the monitor started at 60Hz, and you'll feel the difference in smoothness right away even in Windows. Going back to 60Hz is an eyesore. But humans are creatures that quickly adapt to all things good, and that's how it is with this monitor in my case: the difference can now only be seen when comparing before/now, and 144Hz is already perceived as something ordinary. As you scroll, the black text on the white background becomes bolder and less clear, perhaps it's some blurring effect or something like that, a Ghosting effect :) In games, there might also be something like this, but I haven't noticed, and nothing bothers either, everything is smooth and pleasant, the main thing is for your PC to deliver a stable fps, preferably more than 144. ![]() |
Took it as a replacement for my old Acer, I can say that the monitor is amazing despite the matrix. Good color reproduction, no backlight bleeding, 144 Hz is something I enjoy playing with, and what is also very important is the clear, readable text, not curved, deep blacks and the viewing angles are decent. If you're in doubt, definitely go for it, it's much better than curved 24-inch monitors with a VA matrix. All pros I won't survive ![]() |
The fact that the LG monitor belongs to the gaming class emphasizes the design of its back side. If in front the model has a completely universal and strict design in black tones, then in the back the “gaming burrows” are given out by accent red inserts: the colour of the stand and a circle a la sight on the back surface.
Full HD picture
The LG 24GL600F is based on a 23.6-inch TN+film matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The display features moderate viewing angles (170 degrees horizontally and 160 degrees vertically), a modest but sufficient colour gamut (72% NTSC) for most use cases, standard brightness settings (300 cd/m2) and contrast (1000:1) .
Made for gaming
The monitor boasts a fast response time (1ms) and a refresh rate of 144Hz. FreeSync technology is designed to provide additional smoothness of the picture, which will take care of synchronizing the video sequence with graphics adapters that support this development. As of 2019, this is not only most AMD cards, but also many NVIDIA models.
In addition to the usual technologies to prevent flicker (Flicker-Free) and reduce blue light emission, the LG 24GL600F also has several gaming options. So, the Black Stabilizer function is responsible for optimizing the image and highlighting dark scenes, which will help in detecting objects in the dark. And Crosshair allows you to choose the display of the sight to improve the accuracy of shooting in shooters.
Convenient settings and connection
An intuitive graphical interface will allow you to adjust the image on the monitor. In it, you can select the desired preset, including game ones (FPS and RTS), and change the picture parameters. To connect the model to a PC, two HDMI and DisplayPort connectors are offered.
The monitor stand is tilt adjustable only. If necessary, the display can be easily fixed on the wall using a VESA 100x100 mm mount.
The LG 24GL600F is one of the best low-cost monitors for gaming with FreeSync support.
