Purchased for preparing various winter preserves – jams, preserves, caviar, adjika, pastila, churchkhela, etc., to have a large evaporation area. We also use it to sterilize 1L jars of preserves, it fits 8 jars and can even be covered with a lid almost completely (a 3mm gap remains). Size is 36*17 cm internal, 38 cm external, 47 cm with handle, + another 8 mm at the bottom. The walls are 1 mm thick, the pot is very sturdy and heavy, weighing 3.44 kg + 1 kg for the lid. When making jam on gas, it's better to use a diffuser since it boils around the flame rather than evenly, or you need to stir constantly. Very convenient for those who have their own harvest.
