The e-book brand Kobo is one of the older solutions of the brand line, and generally belongs to the middle price segment of the market. The main features of the device include an 8-inch screen, which is made using E Ink Carta 1200 technology, which is considered the most comfortable and safe for eyesight.
The image is characterized by a high resolution - 1920x1440 pixels, and the display itself supports touch control (in addition to the traditional buttons on the side of the case) and is complemented by ComfortLight PRO adjustable backlight (brightness and color temperature change). The e-book Kobo Sage has got a 4-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz and received 32 GB of internal memory.
In addition to the abundance of supported book formats, the possibility of playing audiobooks and voice reading is announced. For the last two use cases, wireless headphones or an external speaker must be connected to the Bluetooth model. Other features of the book reader include the high water resistance of the plastic case (IPX8 class), which allows, for example, to read quietly in the bathroom.

Kobo Sage is a mid-level e-book reader equipped with everything necessary for comfortable and high-quality reading. Particular attention is paid to ergonomics: the touch screen is complemented by mechanical buttons for convenient page turning.
8-inch display with high pixel density
The paging buttons are located on the wide right frame, providing ease of use. The E Ink Carta 1200 screen has a resolution of 1920x1440 pixels and an 8-inch diagonal, which creates a high pixel density of 300 ppi. This ensures clear and smooth display of text and fonts. The book also supports work with a stylus (Kobo Stylus), but the pen is purchased separately.
ComfortLight PRO backlight
For reading in low light, the model is equipped with ComfortLight PRO backlighting with brightness and color temperature settings, which ensures eye comfort in any conditions. The device interface runs on a Linux distribution, and there is 32 GB of memory on board. In addition to text files, Kobo Sage supports audiobooks, but you can only play purchases from the official Kobo store via Bluetooth headphones or a speaker.
IPX8 waterproof standard
The Kobo Sage's special feature is its IPX8 waterproof case, which allows you to submerge the device in water(up to 2 meters for 1 hour).
