The Kobo Clara Colour e-reader was first introduced in 2024 as a compact and affordable device with the capability to display color images. It features an E Ink Kaleido 3 screen with touch control, complemented by ComfortLight PRO backlighting. There are several levels of brightness and color temperature adjustments available. The display has a 6-inch diagonal with a resolution of 1448x1072 pixels.
The e-reader provides access to online libraries via dual-band Wi-Fi 5, and synchronization with a PC is implemented via USB C. The Android-based software includes all necessary dictionaries for translation, a browser for search, an audio player for listening to books, and voice reading via Bluetooth devices. The IPX8 standard casing withstands short-term submersion in water.
