The KITFORT KT-669 electric teapot with a thermostat has a capacious 1.8 L conical glass flask, a stylish design, a display and a wide choice of heating temperatures. The base of the kettle, the neck, the removable lid and the cylindrical sieve for tea leaves, as well as the stand with the electronic control panel are made of stainless steel. The maximum power consumption is 1428 W, which is not so much for quickly heating a jug of water filled to capacity. The instrument uses the Strix microprocessor to provide precise temperature control, basic protection against overheating, short circuiting of conductive elements and boiling empty flask.

Daily timer for maintaining the temperature of the drink

The device received a rather tricky control panel mounted in a rectangular stand. To the right of the digital display are the power on / off buttons (the largest), start the selected mode and turn on the boiling mode (100 °C). To the left of the display there are 2 buttons for setting the timer time and setting the desired heating temperature, the values of which can be changed with the rotary knob of the regulator. The built-in thermostat allows you to set the heating temperature in the range from 40 °C to 100 °C in steps of 5 °C. This temperature range makes it possible to brew many types of tea and herbal preparations, as well as prepare baby food. The timer allows you to maintain the temperature of the finished drink for 24 hours, so you do not need a thermos. The kettle together with the base is relatively heavy (1.8 kg), but this is not its main problem. Users in the reviews note a pop-up heating error code (code E04), caused by imperfect water protection of the electronic filling of the base stand. With the exception of this shortcoming and, given the quite high price, the model turned out to be interesting and “tested”.
