The rotary hammer worked for me all summer on house renovations. It was used for drilling concrete (with perforation), making grooves with a cutter in wood, sometimes taking a chisel bit to make indentations in concrete. Additionally, I used it for mixing solutions. It worked a lot, very frequently. Of course, it was all dusty, and it often got splattered with plaster. I hardly had any issues with it. Sometimes the button sticks a bit, and occasionally the mode doesn't fully switch over. In the latter case, the hammer just stops working. Switching to another mode and back helps. It fell multiple times, didn't get submerged in water, but there were splashes nearby. I believe it did its job 100%, especially for such a price. At first, I wasn't too fond of the SDS+. Yes, there is a head included. But then I understood the perk - fast, reliable, simple. Very convenient, and I'm glad I chose this model. Essentially, the kit includes nothing but the head, the hammer, grease, and a case with a depth stop bar. I'll say that a chisel bit costs about $12. But what can you do, the kit itself isn't expensive anyway. Reliable, as simple as pie, convenient, it worked in any conditions. Dropped on the floor, splashed with both water and solution - didn't matter. This is a budget workhorse for all needs. There's a replaceable head for the standard chuck. No drills or picks, etc., were included. |
