Model overview based on user reviews
The Metabo UHEV 2860-2 Quick 600713500 is a versatile and durable rotary hammer, ideal for both professional and home use. It features a powerful 1100 W motor and a two-speed gearbox, allowing for efficient drilling with both SDS+ and keyless chucks. Users appreciate its excellent heat dissipation due to the metal gearbox and the long 4-meter rubber cord that remains flexible in cold conditions. The tool is praised for its ability to handle various drilling tasks, including using diamond core bits, making it a solid all-rounder. However, some users note the absence of an anti-vibration system, which can lead to hand fatigue, and emphasize the need for careful maintenance to prevent dust interference. The product is recommended for experienced users who can manage its multifunctionality and ensure proper gear engagement when switching modes. Despite its higher price, it is considered a reliable investment for those needing a multi-tasking tool.
Pros

Cons

regular model, nothing special, rather an expensive version of a home all-rounder

The rotary hammer itself is quite a good universal tool, you can use Diamon Hit core bits as an alternative to diamond drilling machines.
Drills well with a diamond core bit. Better heat dissipation due to the metal gearbox. I wouldn't say it's more productive than Bosch, but the plus is in the 2-speed gearbox. Speed adjustment allows for drilling with a soft impact, convenient when working in drill mode. Two speeds (more versatility). The long rubber cord is 4 meters and doesn’t freeze in the cold. Interchangeable chucks.

Overall, a versatile hammer drill with decent durability thanks to the marathon motor and load adjustment. It drills well with bits of various diameters, whether 6 mm or 28 mm, making it a solid all-rounder and with diamond core bits. A good alternative to SDS-max when installing air conditioners. Even though it's a hammer drill, I would rather consider it an excellent versatile drill for the home, suitable enough to last for generations.
Although the impact is powerful, the hands get tired because there is no anti-vibration system (it is worth considering rotary hammers with a vertical motor, as they often have AVC systems). The Metabo UHE 2660-2 (800W) is excessively expensive and offers no advantage. The main issue is not with the rotary hammer itself, but with the stores selling it (for example, 220 Volts, many of their stores are franchises, essentially sole proprietorships, so be cautious and assume the warranty will be 1 year at best). If you're buying it for professional use, it's impossible to get an official 3-year warranty precisely because of the "franchise."

An excellent tool for someone with experience.

I definitely recommend it for service personnel, craftsmen with part-time jobs, for the home, if you have money and need one multi-tasking tool. For people familiar with mechanics.
Powerful and drills well with a diamond core bit. The clutch engages in time. Excellent heat dissipation from the gearbox *metal housing). Feels more productive than Bosch (the most powerful with a horizontal engine). Adjustable speed separately (convenient if you use it as a drill or mixer). Two speeds (more versatility). The cord is very thick (good because 1100 watts of power - losses are reduced). Very comfortable handles (both). Long cord. Replaceable chucks (jaw and sds+). Big case.
When switching modes, it is necessary to monitor that the gears are engaged (starting after switching must be done at idle to make sure that the mode is turned on, minus multifunctionality). This is definitely a tool for an experienced and literate user. Switches must be protected from dust. After completing work, blow with air or clean with a broom and vacuum cleaner. Picky about the quality of sds+ shanks (very precise design of the chuck, the shank can get stuck even with a new bit)

The German company Metabo has been developing and manufacturing power tools for professional use for several decades. UHEV 2860-2 Quick 600713500 is a powerful and durable rotary hammer designed for years of hard daily use.

Maximum ergonomics

The tool has a classic horizontal form factor, is made in a durable plastic case with rubberized inserts and is quite heavy (3.3 kg). Nevertheless, this almost does not affect the comfort of work, thanks to the competent balancing of the case. The shape of the handle reduces the load on the hand during long and hard work.

Wealth of functionality

Engine power of 1100 W makes it easy to break stones, concrete, bricks of any hardness. The high spindle speed (up to 2100 rpm) ensures fast and accurate drilling of holes with and without impact.

The model uses two types of chuck type SDS + and a keyless drill chuck, the replacement of which does not require a key. The rotary hammer can be used as a drill for making holes in wood, metal, twisting and unscrewing self-tapping screws. The auto-adjust and speed limit function allows you to optimally adjust to the material, and the lock button allows you to work without stopping for as long as you need. If the drill jams, the safety clutch will engage and the shaft will stop.

The rotary hammer can be safely used in dusty environments, thanks to the new generation Metabo Marathon's multi-layer protective windings for the motor and switch protection.

The model has a fairly long 4 m power cable, protected from kink and comes in a solid branded case. In addition to this, the manufacturer offers more configuration options, with a set of chisels and chisels / drills.

Summing up, we can say that the tool is worth its money ($250) and is intended more for professionals than for home craftsmen, but the latter will definitely not refuse such a gift.
