Model overview based on user reviews
The Intel Core i7 Rocket Lake processors are highly praised for their powerful performance and excellent gaming capabilities. Users appreciate the high core count and fast processing speeds, making it ideal for pairing with high-end graphics cards like the RTX 3080 Ti. The processors handle heavy tasks with ease and maintain moderate temperatures with proper cooling solutions. Many users recommend using additional cooling, such as the Be quiet Shadow Rock 3 or Arctic Liquid Freezer, to ensure optimal performance. The i7-11700K and i7-11700F variants are particularly noted for their stability and quality, with the latter being a cost-effective choice for those not needing integrated graphics. Overall, the Intel Core i7 Rocket Lake series offers a great balance of price and quality, making it a solid choice for both gaming and media tasks.

Good performance for a gaming PC
17 July 2021
Purchased for a gaming setup instead of a very old AMD processor bought over 10 years ago. Games are running faster, as is Windows overall. The processor doesn't overheat, and the Arctic Liquid Freezer cooling system handles it without any issues.
A "set-and-forget" processor. An optimal "price-quality" balance

great model, love it

For cooling I used a Be quiet Shadow Rock 3 cooler (with a 190 W TDP) and 5 Be quiet Light Wings 140 PW turntables (two for blowing and 3 for blowing out)
At stock frequency, the chip isn't too hot, 70 degrees was the maximum, but on average it's 60 degrees in games, and with regular office work, it's 40 degrees on average.
The processor delivers very good power for gaming. Cyberpunk on maximum settings uses 30-40% of the processor's power, so it should last for another 6-7 years.
