Model overview based on user reviews
The Intel Pentium Coffee Lake series offers a budget-friendly option for users looking for a processor that doesn't require special cooling and can handle modern games when paired with the right components. While some users appreciate the new technology and added cache, others express disappointment over the minimal differences from the previous Kaby Lake series and the increased price. The processor is praised for its out-of-the-box performance without the need for overclocking, making it a straightforward choice for those on a tight budget. However, some users feel that the price increase is not justified by the performance improvements, and they suggest considering older models or AMD alternatives for better value. Overall, the Intel Pentium Coffee Lake is suitable for basic gaming and everyday tasks, but may not meet the needs of users requiring higher performance for complex tasks.
Pros
Cons
i've been using the G4560 since it came out and I'm not disappointed. Since the budget is tight, I'll go with the Pentium on a Coffee Lake core. Firstly, it's new technology, cache has been added, and both these Pentiums can handle all modern games, even with a GTX 1063, DDR4, and what's with the VX technology. People say it's better to get an old i7, no argument there, and I'm a fan of new technology, even if it's budget. When I get rich, I'll install an i5.i7, but a fresh one. Only those who really use new memory will understand, and those who try to render on a Pentium or do more complex tasks won't understand me, for which Intel i7 is suitable, and new Ryzens with multithreading would be a better choice, something like that. If you're short on money, go for the Pentium, and most importantly, choose the right board with only a future upgrade of the processor and video card, and that's all. Good luck. worth the money and doesn't require special cooling no |
i once trashed the old stump (stump - pentium, old - kaby lake, new - coffee lake) with garbage (of course! I know what this product is! Although I greatly exaggerated due to the prices for g4560 which fluctuated around 5k (!) at the time, due to the reason described below, plus my own emotional attitude towards this product played its part, I was just disappointed in it, considering "they advertised it everywhere, almost running it with a 1080ti in UHD!", and I have some user experience with it): so now the new stump has come out... and how to put it gently... IT'S THE SAME STUMP with minimal changes! And it would be fine if Intel did what AMD was planning and did the same, just with +10% performance, for the same money... BUT NO! The new "hyper stump" starts at 5k (!) against the Old "hyper stump" which starts at 3.5k! P.S. I need a team of couch engineers to explain the difference between THIS and the OLD stumps! (besides price and frequency with iGPU) P.P.S. referring to AMD, I meant the 2nd generation of Ryzen (Zen+). The main advantage of the stump: Price (around 20k assembly with g4600 on integrated graphics or even g4560 + gt 1030) LOST! As the price has almost doubled! Not only that, even new motherboards on the H chipset are on average 1,000 more expensive than the old ones, for the old stump! The second advantage of the stump - future upgrade on used i7 was improved since the new i7 is 6/12, not 4/8 as before, promising x3.5 performance instead of x2.5 The third advantage of the stump, like all Intel processors, it does not need overclocking and it "performs out of the box," which is true! what are the differences between this processor and Kaby Lake NOT CLEAR AT ALL! (except for the price, of course), It's the same situation as with the i3 7100, why do you need it when there's a Pentium Kaby Lake! And if the i3 at least has the questionable advantage of AVX, then the New processor (Stubborn processor XD) doesn't EVEN HAVE THAT! |
Team combat in Minecraft didn't work. But the AMD FX-4, which is half the price, went with a bang. Um, what are the advantages? What are you about? Dear Weak I don't like Intel's blue color use Intel G5400 OEM less than month |
