Model overview based on user reviews
The Intel Pentium Kaby Lake processors are praised for their affordable price, low temperature, and decent performance for budget gaming PCs. Users appreciate its ability to handle everyday tasks and some gaming when paired with a GTX 1050 or 1060 graphics card, achieving medium-high settings in games like The Witcher 3. Despite being a bit outdated and having only two cores, it remains a good choice for budget builds. However, it may struggle with more demanding tasks and modern games, and some users note that the platform is becoming obsolete due to newer options like Ryzen and Coffee Lake. Overall, it's a solid option for those on a budget, but not ideal for heavy multitasking or future-proofing.

I installed the processor on the ASRock H110M-DGS R3.0 motherboard, it started up without problems right out of the box the first time. I didn't use the boxed cooler because I know it's quite noisy. It's better (in my opinion) to spend an additional $15 and get a quiet, powerful 120 mm cooler. I currently have it paired with the Deepcool Gamma Archer cooler and the widely loved Zalman ZM-STG2 thermal paste, and the temperature as I'm writing this review is 31 degrees. Regarding performance, I can say that it's sufficient for me at the end of 2018. It handles everything I need on ultras with 8 GB of DDR4 and a 1060 with 3 GB. Of course, it won't handle new games as well, but I haven't tried. I might get something more powerful in a couple of years, but for now, it's sufficient for me. For its price, it's top-notch.

An excellent processor for the money.

A good processor, unleashes the full power of the 1050ti video card, handles all the toys. A good competitor to the i3 for the money.
A good budget processor. Unleashes the full power of my video card, and is ideal for budget gaming PCs.
