Model overview based on user reviews
The Goodyear Excellence tires are praised for their quiet and soft ride, providing excellent road grip and handling, especially on wet surfaces. They perform well in city driving and at moderate highway speeds, offering smooth and precise handling. However, users have noted rapid tread wear and issues like bulges and cuts, even with moderate driving. While they handle aquaplaning well, their performance diminishes at speeds above 170 km/h. Despite their wear resistance, some users experienced aquaplaning at speeds over 60 km/h. The tires are generally satisfactory for everyday use, but their price and durability concerns may lead some to consider other brands.

I haven't tested it on dirt in combat mode, but I once got seriously stuck in the mud, and it took longer to get out than with stock Yokohama tires, but I did make it out. worthy road grip, enters corners at high speed with confidence, good braking - on both dry and wet asphalt. Even on wet roads, full throttle feels like dry. On the highway, up to 160-170 km/h, provides confident and precise handling, holds the road well even during sharp maneuvers, while being smooth and quiet. After 170-180 km/h, didn't feel so confident. Spent 2 seasons on the Outlander Turbo and the tires wore out. Fast wear and possibly a bit too soft. A couple of times I hit one of our medium-sized potholes and had to patch the tires. |
Brakes excellently on wet asphalt. Handles puddles without any issues, doesn't veer off course. It's better not to venture into sand and mud, and don't test your luck on wet dirt roads. Quiet and soft, holds the road superbly. Quick wear, no off-road capabilities. |
Soft and silent. Holds the road well. For three seasons, I used 2 sets (purchased one or two extra wheels). The reason - constant bulges, cuts, wobbles. And this is with moderate driving in the relatively decent roads of Kyiv. Rapid tread wear. |
