Model overview based on user reviews
The Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 tires receive mixed reviews from users. They are praised for their good handling on dry asphalt, with some users noting low noise levels even at high speeds. However, performance on wet surfaces is a point of contention; while some find them satisfactory, others report significant issues, especially on dirt roads. The tires are described as comfortable with a softer ride, making them a worthy alternative to brands like Michelin and Bridgestone. Concerns include a weak sidewall prone to bulging and a price that some find unreasonable. Overall, the tires perform well in dry conditions but may not be the best choice for wet or off-road driving.

As already mentioned above, I absolutely did not like the car's behavior on wet asphalt and strongly advise against going on a dirt road during rain. The sidewall is weak, and overall the tire does not excel in this aspect; if you hit a pothole, you will definitely get a bulge, so be cautious when driving over potholes, especially at speed. Good handling while driving on dry and smooth asphalt, it also enters turns on this surface without any difficulties. Terribly performs on wet surfaces, making it almost impossible to drive. On a dirt road, it's just beyond words. The noise, it seems to me, is very noticeable even when driving on smooth asphalt. ![]() |
I mostly agree with the previous review, especially regarding the ground cover. However, I disagree about hitting potholes and bumps. I've hit them several times, especially on the Lviv-Radehiv route (for those who know), and nothing terrible happened, not a single bump. Good on dry pavement. Poorly retains ground cover. ![]() |
bought together with a car from Holland - it was half worn - drove another 45 thousand on it. bought the same one from us - lasted for 20 thousand (all bumpy, worn down to the cord). it most likely depends on the country of the manufacturer. low noise (even at speeds of 160-180), performs well on wet asphalt. on grass and soil - better not to drive ![]() |
