Video card, vidyuhi cooling. There weren't enough characters in the main line, so I'm writing here. The processor is just trash because of its cooling; it heats up to 50 degrees even when idle. The CPU goes up to 30 and the lid up to 50. You open the browser - you get 65-70 degrees. You open a game - 80-88 degrees, and you can't undervolt it with ANYTHING. It throttles, meaning the graphics card could perform better, could work normally, but because of the CPU throttling – there are constant stutters and freezes. The CPU doesn't cool down enough and can't ensure stable graphics card operation. And do you know what? The folks from Opus blocked all possibilities to lower voltage to at least achieve stable operation. What makes this laptop total trash is the software. Constant backlight resets, whether you save the profile or not... you know what Opus is telling you about that? - Go [censored]! [censored]! You can't decide what my backlight looks like... can't you hear, [censored]? Go [censored], I said. I'll always reset whenever the power cable is unplugged from the laptop. Did it maybe update to settle this over a year? - Yes, it updated, but you know what? Go [censored], I said. I'll keep shining as I want. Oh, by the way))) the memory is set to 3200, but all programs show 2666))) and you can't do anything with it, neither overclock nor reduce timings, [censored]. I got it for 40k, not 75 as stores put it. And I'll say right away, for 40k - a good offer. But for a higher price - think twice, and if you decide it's worth it - congratulations, you are an imbecile and [censored]. Now to the point:
1. The laptop has a 3070 at 130 watts with Samsung memory. In mining on nicehash - excavator was able to take 1900 on memory (Samsung), which gave somewhere around 67.4 MH/s. The GPU cooling is good if you do undervolting, and it's necessary to do it, it's not a choice, but a forced measure. In mining at room temperature, 78 degrees, but the hot spot (which is equal to memory temperature, if not more) is 92-95 degrees. If placed in a cool breeze near a window, then 70-72 degrees and hot spot somewhere around 85-88, which is already tolerable. There are no questions about the GPU, and for mining, it's really good.
2. The back cover of the laptop is done well, with adequate holes and a good fine mesh (better than on this laptop, haven't seen better back covers), which provides good airflow.
3. And now let's move on to the degenerates, [censored], and scumbags who made the software for this laptop. From the bottom of my heart, with a sober mind and sound memory, I wish a painful death to all who made the software for this laptop. I would like to say that it was done by engineers and programmers - but no, it was done by degenerates, degenerates and nothing else.
The laptop doesn't have UEFI, it has a BIOS in which you can't change anything except date and time. No voltage, no memory overclocking, no undervolting, nothing. There is no fresh BIOS.
