A large and roomy case, on the basis of which it will be possible to assemble a powerful computing station or an advanced gaming computer. Inside the Fractal Design DEFINE R6 system unit, up to 9 120/140 mm fans can be accommodated, while “out of the box” the case is already equipped with 3 coolers with a 120 mm impeller. Additionally, up to 4 liquid cooling heat exchangers can be placed inside.

Among other things, the system unit received high-quality sound insulation, and the memory storage compartment received a convenient modular design. So, the bay can accommodate 6 3.5" drives and 2 2.5" drives. On the front panel there is a plug for installing a 5.25" drive. In addition, the front panel itself is swivel and the user can at his discretion configure which way the front panel will rotate. On the chassis, you can install a graphics card of almost any power level, because there is a place for The graphics adapter is 440 mm long, and the space for a CPU cooler has the same amount of space — a CPU fan up to 185 mm high can be installed on the chassis.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Fractal Design Define R6 Black is a highly regarded computer case known for its robust build and thoughtful design. The metal is very thick, making the case heavy and durable, while the interior is lined with noise-reducing material, ensuring a quiet operation. Quick-release bolts and dust covers add to its convenience, and the internal space is highly customizable, allowing users to remove hard drive mounts for additional flexibility. This case is ideal for those who spend significant time on their PC and desire a quiet environment. Although the price reflects its quality, the investment is justified by its longevity and performance. Overall, the Define R6 sets a high standard in the market, offering a blend of functionality and noise reduction that is hard to find in newer models.
Pros

Cons

I would recommend it to those who spend a lot of time on a PC and who are tired of the noise.

Excellent ultra quiet case. I've been using this for about 8 years.
The metal is very thick, the body is really heavy. The inside is lined with noise-reducing material. Everything is secured with quick release bolts. Convenient quick-release dust covers. The internal space can be completely freed from such things as mounts for hard drives and you can put your own in this place. In general, this is the standard. They don’t make things like this anymore, alas, all this new stuff with glass and so on is not worth it.
The price is understandable, but quality has always cost money.

Define R6 is another piece of art from Fractal Design. The company's engineers took into account the feedback from enthusiasts and ordinary buyers, and as a result, a practical case was obtained, which has a large weight, high strength, spaciousness and thoughtful design. It also looks interesting and minimalist, like most other Fractal Design models. Especially in unconventional white.

The devil is in the details

This case is the embodiment of the saying "the devil is in the details." Inside, the case has a modular design that makes it equally easy to implement massive air or liquid cooling (there are 4 places for CBO), build in numerous drives, place components of any size and choose the desired balance between the level of ventilation and noise isolation. Of those details, we note a useful PWM hub that allows you to control the speed of up to nine fans depending on the load on the system, side panels that are fastened with latches, which ensures their quick dismantling, a trio of quiet standard coolers and the ability to install a graphics card in a vertical orientation.

Easier means better

I also liked that the side glass now mounts like a regular panel without bolts, the front panel is removed separately from the external ports, and all dust filters have quick and easy access for maintenance. In comparison to this, there are only two shortcomings, and both are minor. The first is an uncovered 5.25 compartment through which dust enters the case. The second is that the top metal cover is hard to separate from the filter grill, which is why both parts get scratched.
