Advanced class 2.1 system with wireless subwoofer, combo connection and high quality ribbon tweeters. The kit belongs to the upper price category and is a representative of the elite 2021 Edifier S series. Aimed at people who are looking for high-end all-round acoustics for games, movies and music with powerful, well-read bass and crystal-clear high frequencies.

The highlight of the system is a ribbon tweeter, developed jointly with magicians from the French company Fostex. Edifier is the first to use a ribbon tweeter in bookshelf speakers, these things are difficult and expensive to produce, so they are most often found either in expensive home hi-fi speakers or in studio monitors for mixing and mastering. 4-inch aluminium drivers with increased suspension are responsible for the mid frequencies in each satellite.

The subwoofer has a similar 8-inch aluminium driver. The subwoofer is connected to the speakers via a wireless channel operating at a frequency of 5.8 GHz. Each Edifier S360DB speaker is equipped with its own D-class digital amplifier and state-of-the-art DSP chips from Texas Instruments. The total system power is 150 watts (70 watts per subwoofer + 80 watts per satellite), so if desired, the speakers can rock a small dance floor.

The thoroughbred sound of the system is confirmed by the certificates of the analytical center KLIPPEL. The satellites and subwoofer are encased in premium 18mm thick MDF boards, which are commonly used in the production of Hi-Fi acoustics. For decorative purposes, the manufacturer decided to abandon the protective grills. The control unit for volume, equalizer and connections is located on the back panel of the active speaker. In order not to force the user to climb under the table, the manufacturer equipped the speakers with a remote control in the form of a washer, on which all controls are duplicated. To connect a sound source, there are 4 analog RCA connectors, optical and coaxial inputs, as well as a Bluetooth 5.0 wireless receiver with aptX HD support.
