A solid desktop two-way acoustic stereo system with a built-in amplifier and a wireless remote control. The speaker cabinets are made from dense wood-based material (high-grade E0 MDF), which gives the sound the necessary depth and eliminates the unpleasant phenomenon of acoustic resonance. It features a powerful and balanced sound. Positioned as a mid-range product, it allows you to deliver high-quality sound from personal computers, laptops, all-in-one PCs, CD/DVD players, gaming consoles, and even televisions.

The two-way speaker system Edifier R1600TIII is designed for discerning users who choose high-quality and relatively compact acoustics with loud, accurate, and detailed sound. The set includes an active speaker with a branded Class D digital amplifier (Texas Instruments TAS5707) and a connectable passive speaker. Additionally, the box includes a wireless remote control and a set of cables: 2xRCA->2xRCA and 3-pin miniJack 3.5mm->2xRCA. The sound output is powered by a pair of 4″ low-frequency drivers with Nomex cones and a pair of 1″ high-frequency tweeters. The tone control on the side of the active speaker allows you to adjust high and low frequencies (from -6 to +6 dB). The total nominal power of the speakers reaches an impressive 60 W (2x30 W).

Model overview based on user reviews
The Edifier R1600TIII speakers are highly praised for their excellent sound quality and solid build, making them a great choice for their price range. Users appreciate the rich and clear audio, with many noting the distinct bass and treble controls that allow for personalized sound adjustments. The speakers feature a stylish design with wooden MDF enclosures, adding aesthetic appeal to any setup. They come with a wireless remote control for convenient operation. While some users mention the lack of an optical input and a desire for deeper bass, the overall consensus is that these speakers offer great value and are suitable for various music genres and uses, including connecting to computers and TVs. The inclusion of quality cables and the ability to connect multiple audio sources are also appreciated. Despite minor drawbacks, such as the volume knob not having a clear limit and the absence of a headphone jack, the Edifier R1600TIII is recommended for those seeking a balanced and immersive audio experience without breaking the bank.

Good speakers for a normal price. Possibility to adjust for yourself. Good, rich sound.
The volume level is not saved when turned off. The volume knob is endless, it is not clear how much louder/quieter I made it and what the limit is.

Take or add the same amount, but get the sound a little better - decide for yourself

I took these speakers tempted by flattering reviews and a promotional price 25% lower than the store price. First impressions - they are perfectly assembled, heavy, good equipment, high-quality cables, the size is not large and not small, they look very nice. I connected it directly to the laptop - the sound was a little disappointing - judging by the reviews, I was waiting for the best. Those who wrote that a sound card is needed are 100% right, using an external sound card is a completely different matter. It is not worth judging strictly columns for such a price - this is certainly not Hi-Fi or Hi-End. For its size and price, the sound is very decent. If you want better - buy 2-3 times more expensive, but it's not a fact that the sound will improve 2-3 times. I would put 5, but I do not want to reassure anyone too much. I repeat once again - the sound is quite good for this price and size, but you should not expect super-duper cool sound from them.
Appearance, build quality, equipment, sound.
