Model overview based on user reviews
The Deepcool DQ-ST DQ750ST power supply unit is praised for its affordable price, gold certification, and 10-year warranty, making it an attractive option for gamers and general users. It features high-quality Japanese capacitors and is manufactured by the reliable CWT. However, some users noted that the cables are short, which can complicate cable management, and there is a strong smell of plastic and formaldehyde upon initial use, requiring ventilation. While one user experienced a failure shortly after purchase, others have reported satisfaction with its performance over several years. Overall, it is recommended for average gaming builds without overclocking, offering quiet operation and a reserve for future upgrades.

I chose it because of the famous brand, price and 10-year warranty for the gold block. I installed it - but the wires are not too long - they were enough to fit the ATX system unit. I liked the manufacturing and quality of the components, all the Conders are Japanese Nichikon - they can be seen through the cracks of the fan. I didn’t like the smell of plastic or formaldehyde - immediately after startup, I had to ventilate the room - I did not load the system much (i7 3770+ rth2060 + 16 gigabytes ddr3) - the total power is a maximum of 3000-400 watts. So, in principle, the fan on the unit does not turn on.... I recommend purchasing such a unit for the average gaming build without overclocking. - Enough with your head and there is a reserve for an upgrade. It will please you with silence and long work because it remains quite cold in my case.. Price - exquisite, you won't find better. Gold certificate. 10-year warranty. Completely Japanese capacitors at 105 degrees. Quality components. The manufacturer of this unit is CWT - it is reliable. 750 watts - more than enough, no more needed for the average gamer for graphics cards at the level of 2060-2080 Super. Short cables... - would have preferred them to be 5-10cm longer - particularly, the motherboard power cable is a bit short for quality cable management. The distance between SATA connectors on the power supply is too small. Enough for 2 hard drives, but the last end doesn't reach the upper drive. And most importantly: A strong smell of plastic and formaldehyde upon first use, which caused a headache and required airing the room for 3 days. |
