Model overview based on user reviews
The Deepcool Aurora series, including models like the DP-BZ-DA500N, DP-BZ-DA600N, and DP-BZ-DA700N, offers a range of power supplies with varying wattages. Users appreciate the affordable price point and sleek cable design, particularly the black sleeving that complements cases with windows. However, several reviews highlight concerns about fan noise and vibrations, which can be disruptive, especially in quiet setups. Some users reported issues with voltage stability and component failures over time, suggesting that while the units are budget-friendly, they may not be suitable for high-end builds. Additionally, there is confusion regarding different modifications under similar names, which can lead to purchasing mishaps. Overall, the Deepcool Aurora series is seen as a decent choice for budget-conscious consumers, but those seeking long-term reliability might consider investing in higher-quality alternatives.

For that price, it's nice to get 700w. It's nice that the cables are almost entirely in black sleeving, especially if the case has a window and won't be placed by your feet. But there's this sound of metallic friction under load. It's distinctly audible during active work. You can ignore the noise from the HDD and cooling, as the PSU will take all the attention. Wires in a braid and don't look like an electrician's gay rainbow. 700w. Annoying fan noise. Short wires. |
the best product for your money after 2 years of operation the cooler began to crack ![]() |
I have been using this power supply since April 2017 (more than 4 years). It's a very ordinary power supply, standing out among others, perhaps only because of its drawbacks. 1. Cables in a braid 2. The cooler itself is quiet. 1. Big doubts about the reality of these 700 watts. 2. The PSU itself is quiet, but the vibration from the power supply's cooler is transmitted to the computer case and subsequently to the surface on which it stands. If you're planning to place your PC on a desk or stand, keep in mind that everything will vibrate and hum. (In my setup, it is installed in a Zalman Z9 NEO case, but even the vibration-dampening elements in the case cannot handle it). 3. After 3 years of operation, it started to provide unstable voltage to the hard drives, frequently causing the blue "screen of death" to appear. 4. After 4 years of use, one of the power lines for hard drives and molex failed (meaning only one is left working, which is definitely not enough for 2+ hard drives or SSDs). 5. The distance between the pins for connecting drives is so small that it is only possible to connect two hard drives to one line behind the cover, where the drives are positioned on top of one another. 6. For perfectionists: the pins for connecting video cards are bright blue in color, so if your case has a window, you'll constantly see this eyesore. Conclusion: I do not recommend buying this PSU for high-end builds, as it can fail at any moment and potentially take down other components with it. ![]() |
