Okay, convenient

I bought it for the D 1000 camera. Compatible with this model. It is a little more difficult to put on than a standard lens; it requires a little effort.
1) Small size and consequently lightweight. This is quite important for me, as I can't always carry heavy equipment with me.
2) The sensitivity compared to the standard lens model is better. Photos turn out brighter.
I haven't used it for very long yet, so I haven't figured out all the advantages.
2) And for me, a small downside (this is more about being unaccustomed, and is not even a drawback, but a temporary inconvenience) is the standard focal length. I'm always instinctively trying to zoom in or out.

A fairly fast lens that produces high-quality photography!!
i’ve been using this lens for several months now, on a Canon EOS 1000D, it’s very versatile, from subject photography and portraits, to reporting on an exhibition, not to mention landscape infrared photography)))))))) in short, a great lens!!!
for me there are no shortcomings in it yet, let someone else try to find it.

good model, like it

very comfortable model. The image quality is pleasing. sharp starting from 2.8. lighter than 24-70 2.8 (http://olegasphoto.com.ua/index.php/canon-ef-24-70-mm-2-8l-usm-vs-canon-ef-28-mm-f -2-8/), and in terms of the picture at this focal length it is not inferior. At the same time, cheap, light, compact. Very good model.
very small, light, inexpensive. The image is very pleasing. sharp, rich colors. convenient focal length on full frame.
the motor hums (not for everyone). relatively slow autofocus.
