Blackview A5 8 GB / 1 GB

The device comes from the ultra-low-cost segment of smartphones for unpretentious users. The model takes its toll with the mosaic structure of the backdrop, the elements on which effectively shimmer with sparkles in the light. This style of execution, along with the compact dimensions of the case, increase the attractiveness of the device in the eyes of the fair sex. But in terms of technical parameters, the Blackview A5 has nothing to brag about — it's a simple device with basic functionality.
Under its "hood" is a bunch of 4-core entry-level chip with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and just 1 GB of RAM. Not far from these figures, the amount of internal memory (8 GB) has also gone. The screen of the model displays a picture at a resolution of 854x480 pixels, and its diagonal is 4.5". The smartphone was equipped with a main camera with a 5 MP sensor, the front camera received a 2-megapixel matrix — it is more suitable for organizing video calls. The 2000 mAh battery has enough energy for about a day.

Why did I buy such a budget phone? It's simple, I'm a fourth-year student at a university in the capital, trying to juggle work and studies, but money is always tight. So when I accidentally drowned my previous smartphone, an unexpected problem arose. I simply didn't have the money for something decent, or rather, I did, but I didn't want to choose between a good phone and winter boots. )) I could have bought a regular button phone and used it for a while, but that option wasn't suitable either – I desperately needed a smartphone with 3G internet and GPS for work, as I'm currently working as a courier. I had to buy this cheap "Chinese knockoff." PRICE. I intentionally wrote it in capital letters because this is the cheapest smartphone with a gigabyte of RAM, Android 6, and the network interface I need. A decent 4.5-inch display has a low resolution, but it's sufficient for work and simple entertainment. The processor is quad-core but budget, so you can't really play anything serious on it. Applications run more or less smoothly, but glitches and freezes happen. I would like to praise the body, even though it's purely plastic, it's quite sturdy. The back cover is especially nice with an interesting small square pattern. Thanks to this, it provides extra grip and the smartphone holds well in the hand. The biggest issue is the not very loud speaker. In a noisy place, you have to press it to your ear as hard as possible and cover the other ear to make out its muffled sound. Luckily, a friend had an old worn-out Bluetooth headset, so I've been using that for now. The display gets completely washed out by bright sunlight. Occasionally, it spontaneously restarts, which happens once or twice a week. |
For its price, the phone is a solid 4 with a bold plus. Appearance, screen (not as described, but 960×540 IPS), fresh operating system without any unnecessary junk, functionality, package contents. The sound is annoying, and it's not a problem with the headphones. The sound in the native headphones from Blackview A5 is simply wonderful when connected to the Honor 3C Lite. |
