Ultra-portable laptops with a high-quality 12-inch screen from the acclaimed 2016 Apple MacBook series. They feature an ultra-small aluminium chassis (13.1 mm thick) and exceptionally light weight (0.92 kg), use of a fully passive cooling system and proprietary MacOS operating system. The manufacturer is positioned as a premium product that can provide the performance of full-fledged laptops while maintaining dimensions close to the tablet.
Equipped with dual-core Intel Core M3-6Y30/M5-6Y54 processors with ultra-low power consumption. To dissipate the heat generated during their operation, the aluminium case of the device is used. The amount of RAM is 8 GB, which is enough for the vast majority of usage scenarios. The storage subsystem of Apple MacBook 12" laptops (2016) consists of a single high-speed SSD with a capacity of up to 512 GB.

The Apple MacBook 12 (2016) is a luxurious and lightweight laptop, weighing just 920 grams, with a sturdy aluminum body. It features a passive cooling system for its Core M3-6Y30 processor, which, although not the fastest, performs well due to Apple's OS optimization, supported by 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. The 12-inch IPS Retina Display with a resolution of 2304x1440 offers an incredible viewing experience. However, the metal casing can become uncomfortably warm during summer, and the single USB 3.1 Type C port, while modern, necessitates additional investment in a USB hub. Overall, it is a good model for tasks like text editing and website administration, and the user even considered replacing their main laptop with it.

I was on a six-month business trip to Israel and brought this MacBook back from there. I originally bought it as a gift for my girlfriend, but upon returning, it became clear that our relationship didn't stand the test of time. As a result, it stayed with me. I was planning to sell it, but then my main laptop seriously malfunctioned, and while it was being serviced, I decided to use the MacBook. The tasks were not complicated, mainly working with texts, spreadsheets, and administering two websites based on WordPress templates. So, now I'm thinking about selling my main laptop instead ))) Luxurious item. But to truly appreciate it, you need to use it at least a little. First of all, this laptop weighs almost nothing, 920 grams is not a weight. The body is made of aluminum, and in Apple ads, they like to say it's milled from a single piece of metal. Honestly, I don't care if it was one piece or several, but the body is light and sturdy. The cooling for the Core M3-6Y30 processor, by the way, is passive. So the body additionally acts as a heat sink. The processor is not the fastest by specifications, but Apple's OS optimization does its job, and with 8 gigs of memory and a 256-gig SSD everything works great. The screen is incredible. Apple managed to fit a glossy 12-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2304x1440 in here. The resolution, by the way, wasn't chosen randomly. It's such to meet the Retina Display standard, which means that all MacBooks and iPads have the same pixel density, allowing you to switch from this model to a MacBook Pro or iPad without any adaptation or discomfort. As the processor's heat dissipates through the metal casing, it can become uncomfortably warm in the summer. On the desk, it's all fine, but on your lap, it's uncomfortable. The single USB 3.1 Type C port is very cool, but even a simple USB hub costs at least 1000 UAH. |
