Comfortable studio on-ear semi-open headphones with increased impedance and precise, highly detailed sound. They are one of the most successful and balanced professional models of the basic level, the release of which began in 2006. With oversized ear cushions, a semi-open design and a self-adjusting headband, they provide a comfortable experience for long hours of use. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the middle price category, intended for use in professional and home studios.

Equipped with special dynamic drivers with Varimotion diaphragm and XXL transducers, providing a flat frequency response and sound with minimal harmonic / timbre distortion. The headphones are equipped with a detachable three-metre cable with a 3-pin mini-Jack 3.5mm connector and an adapter for Jack 6.3mm.

AKG K240M headphones are the world standard for studio monitor headphones. The DF version is used as a reference for studio mixing of phonograms. K240S is an upgraded version with a new dynamic capsule of increased size with a patented Varimotion diaphragm, has lower resistance and increased sensitivity, which allows using headphones at home as well.
