subcompact model
2E M400 is an ultra-compact computer case with a volume of less than a liter. Able to accommodate both thin Thin-ITX motherboards for laptop SO-DIMM RAM, and Mini-ITX motherboards with desktop DIMM. The maximum height of the CPU cooler is stated to be up to 30 mm, but if you remove the sled for a 2.5-inch hard drive, the cooler will fit up to 47 mm (typical height of an Intel boxed cooler).
Silent power supply
Minimizing the size of the case is achieved by completely abandoning a discrete graphics card (even a low-profile one will not fit), as well as by moving the power supply outside (power 60 or 120 watts). Inside the case there is only a low-voltage power line converter, which is installed directly on the 24-pin slot of the motherboard.
Through ventilation
Almost all sides of the case are richly perforated for passive convection of heat. A single 40mm fan with a two-pin connector is installed on the front, that is, it always rotates at maximum speed. If desired, it can be rearranged, for example, to a passive processor cooler (these are often used in motherboards with a built-in CPU).
Monitor mount
On the interface panel, in addition to the power button, there are two USB 2.0 ports (sorry, not 3.0) and separate audio jacks for headphones and a microphone. The 2E M400 comes with two mounts. The first is a stand for vertical installation of the case on a table. The second is VESA for mounting on the back of the monitor to turn the nettop into a monoblock.
