The model is noteworthy for its front panel made of wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This environmentally responsible design approach creates a distinctive appearance, setting the case apart from traditional metal and glass solutions. Dimensions of 503x225x412 mm provide sufficient space for graphics cards up to 315 mm in length with the option for vertical installation and CPU coolers up to 160 mm in height.

Among other features, the Asus ProArt PA401 Wood Tempered Glass Panel case is distinguished by its thoughtful ergonomics—tool-free component mounting, including 3.5" hard drives, significantly simplifies system assembly and maintenance. Two pre-installed 160-mm fans provide powerful cooling at reduced noise levels due to their large diameter. An integrated fan controller with top-panel control allows for speed adjustment without software.

Power and reset button locks prevent accidental presses. The included hub simplifies the connection of multiple fans. A sturdy steel construction weighing 8.61 kg ensures stability. The top panel is equipped with a high-speed USB-C 3.2 gen2x2, providing data transfer rates up to 20 Gbps, and two USB 3.2 gen1 ports. Dust filters in the front and bottom protect components from contamination.
