Everyone is used to the fact that an air conditioner is a white rectangular box, hanging high on the wall and barely matching the rest of the decor. But my wife is graduating from the Academy of Arts and Crafts next year, and her specialty is design. On one hand, it's great—she designed the interior of our apartment herself, and it turned out really well. But those design ideas ate up so much money that if it were an outsider, they would have been sent in a known direction long ago. I can't do that with my wife because I love her very much. So, she also picked out the air conditioner for the bedroom. I was hoping to keep it under €10,000, but had to spend €13,500. It’s stressful, but there are pleasant moments. Now we have the most beautiful air conditioner I've ever seen hanging in our bedroom, and it works excellently. Essentially, this is a modern mid-power inverter model, additionally tuned externally and internally. Its front textured panel looks unconventional and appealing. It’s just a glossy textured surface, yet it looks completely different. It delivers decent cooling performance, cooling the bedroom and even an adjacent room quickly and confidently. It’s particularly pleasing that the air conditioner does this very quietly. It’s only distinctly audible at high fan speeds, and in night mode, you can’t hear it at all. It heats the air cheerfully as well, but we didn’t get into that – no need since there’s an efficient autonomous heating system. Unlike most available inverters, it has advanced high-density mechanical filters that help catch dust. The remote control is neat. There is a full 36-month official warranty from the manufacturer. The price isn't great, they added about 10-15% just because of this stamped plastic decor on the front panel. But it looks awesome, it has to be said. |
