Attractive in appearance and at the same time relatively inexpensive case, on the basis of which you can assemble a fairly performant PC. Typical size of the Midi Tower system unit. The case chassis is designed to mount an ATX motherboard and its minor modifications (micro-ATX, mini-ITX). Inside the system unit, you can mount a graphics adapter up to 330 mm long, and the height of the processor fan should not exceed 156 mm.

The case of Zalman S2 has an intricate design. The front panel is made in the form of a decorative crate, and the main sidewall is covered with a translucent acrylic insert. The case allows you to use 8 fans, but only 1 rear cooler is installed in the model. Air cooling can be supplemented with liquid cooling — inside the unit there is space for 2 heat exchange water cooling circuits. Air intake areas are covered with dust filtration. The list of interfaces includes: two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, headphone and microphone connectors. Inside the case there is space for mounting 2x 3.5" hard drives and 2x 2.5" hard drives. The power supply is mounted in the base. The case itself is located on fairly high legs, which improves air convection.

The glass is plastic, in the front panel and on the top there are dubious, but still dust filters (metal mesh with 1.5mm holes). Although the legs of the case are rubberized, they do not provide much protection from vibration. The kit includes many bolts for fastening anything (including 8 for fans).
Overall, the cables are laid out decently.
There are 2 special slots for 3.5" drives, which eliminates the need to secure them with screws.
The length of the wires from the panel is normal.
Of course, it's evident from the picture, but the airflow is good.
There is an option to install 7 additional 120mm fans in addition to the one that is already installed for exhaust.
Magnetic mesh on top of the case.
The case is exclusively for Russians. As is well known, God is with them. And removing the front cover-heatsink is only possible with divine help (it's on some clips, and they are quite tight). Installing long power supplies might be problematic due to the limited number of mounts for them in the designated compartment. The back panel is thin, so with less careful cable management, it could slightly bulge. There is no threading in the holes for mounting case fans, although bolts are included.

I recommend to buy, the case is chic

When choosing, there was an acute issue of blowing through the hull. This model has everything in order with this. The air intake of the front panel is just wonderful, I installed 3 backlit turntables there - it looks gorgeous and, most importantly, very productive. I put two turntables without illumination on top of the blower and, by the way, also zalman. After all these actions, the case is now almost room temperature) Powerful air currents perfectly cool the entire kit, I am very pleased. Yes, the noise is noticeable, but it does not annoy me and I am sure now that excessive overheating does not threaten me. The only trouble with dust filters is a mesh with rather large cells, fine dust flies through. From above it is not critical, but in front I will probably install a finer mesh. The rest of the case is very good, visually attractive, cool design, transparent window, closed cover for the power supply and drives. At the back there are 2 seats for SSD, a basket for two HDDs, in general, everything is according to the latest trends in the world of cases. Some complain that the paint is chipping here - I didn’t notice anything like that, after assembly nothing was chipped anywhere.
