Model overview based on user reviews
The Yokohama A.Drive AA01 tires are generally appreciated for their affordability and performance on dry roads, with users noting their softness and predictability. They are described as wear-resistant and offer good directional stability, making them suitable for city driving and well-paved roads. However, several users have pointed out that the tires can be noisy and harsh in cooler weather, and they struggle on wet or muddy surfaces, with a tendency to skid. Additionally, they are not ideal for high-speed driving or winding roads, as they can become difficult to control. Despite these drawbacks, the tires are recommended as a budget-friendly option, though some users suggest alternatives like Bridgestone or KAMA for better performance in wet conditions.

On a 5-point scale, a solid 4+. Inexpensive, I recommend it as a budget option. I've been using it for over a year, with 15,000 km covered on a Mitsubishi Lancer 9 195/60 R15. I'm happy with the tires; they're soft, like high temperatures, and sometimes I drive aggressively, which Yoko handles. The car feels like it's on rails. What I like the most is that the tires are very predictable. By the way, my previous car was a VAZ 2110, and it had Kama Euro tires on it, which were awful except for the fact that they didn't wear out because they were so hard. Noisy, rattles loudly at the joints, doesn't like dirt, quite decent on water. ![]() |
Tavriya Car, Size 165/70 R13 Drove just over 60,000, tread remaining 40%, impressions are good!!!! I can confidently recommend!!! Asphalt-5; Rain-4+; Mud-3; I don't recommend driving onto wet dirt roads, it starts to skid!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
The rubber is designed for driving on smooth asphalt in warm weather; heat is only beneficial for it. In rainy and cold weather, driving on the rubber is less comfortable - it's stiff. When the rubber is warmed up, the ride turns into comfortable trips, being soft, quiet, and grippy. Wear-resistant, good directional stability. Affordable price. Noisy and harsh in cool weather. Does not withstand impacts. ![]() |
