I got this to replace my old 8-inch Samsung and was pleasantly surprised. For its price, it's really impressive, the screen is beautiful and vibrant, and doesn't strain the eyes. They've even made it 90Hz. The processor is powerful: PUBG, Call of Duty, etc., run smoothly on high settings. Both cameras amazed me, delivering decent quality. The sound is incredible: immersive, deep, with bass. The battery lasts long and charges quickly. The tablet was purchased for my mom, so the requirements were minimal - to have WiFi working for Viber/YouTube/series and to display all this on the screen. As you can understand, with such a processor there can be no talk of any games (at least not with modern graphics). It is a good device for multimedia and internet browsing. Bright screen, loud speakers, mediocre front camera, and equally mediocre main camera. The Xiaomi Redmi Pad is definitely not for "mobile photographers." The battery holds up fine, 1-2 days. Overall, I can say that the tablet handles its tasks perfectly. One might nitpick the awful MIUI interface (subjectively), but this tablet isn't for me, it's for my mom, and she's okay with it. Mom is pleased Hardware is not for gaming. Disgusting MIUI shell. Xiomi hates its customers and its devices, so there will be no updates a year after the release.
