Model overview based on user reviews
The WetAir WFH-28 is a compact and inexpensive fan heater ideal for quickly warming up small spaces, such as a single room or bathroom. It features a simple and intuitive control system, and its design includes a pleasant-to-touch case with a relatively thick cable that remains cool even after extended use. The heater effectively raises room temperature in minutes, making it a handy appliance for transitional seasons when central heating is insufficient. However, users have noted a persistent unpleasant smell of plastic during operation, which does not dissipate even after following the instructions for initial use. Additionally, the unit can be quite loud, and it does not introduce new air, which may lead to stuffiness. Despite these drawbacks, it remains a practical choice for those needing a quick heating solution on a budget.
Pros
Cons
Used last winter before heating was turned on and when the central heating was not enough. Compactness, I'm not using it now because there's a heater air conditioner, but it's a compact box that can be hidden somewhere in the closet and brought out when needed. Heats up very quickly, raises the room temperature significantly in just a few minutes. Unpleasant smell when heating and overall stuffiness, as new air does not come in, it just heats up the air already in the room. Loud, the noise from the operation is quite noticeable. |
I bought this "duichyk" in September 2022 while waiting for the central heating to be turned off. It was necessary earlier, because the heating was turned on as late as possible, so it was necessary to periodically heat the rooms (the bedroom, the kitchen) in the one-room apartment. The model has a good design, a pleasant-to-the-touch case (the plastic is better than in the cheapest models), a fairly long and relatively thick cable. By the way, the cable does not heat up after 40 minutes of operation at maximum power. Convenient, simple and clear control of the fan heater. It warms up a room of 6x3x2.5 m quite quickly at max. power You need a thing in the household when you need to quickly heat up a room (we use it periodically and now in the bathroom, when you need to warm it up to a comfortable temperature, and the heating is already turned off). The smell of plastic during power-on did not go away after many hours of operation. I already did as it is written in the instructions: warmed up for a maximum of 5+ minutes, and the smell is still present. Which is true, he goes somewhere for the first 1-2 minutes, but still, an unpleasant story. Which is true, you can hardly expect anything else for such a budget. |
