Affordable and reliable internal (integrated) hard drive with a 3.5" form factor from the 2013 SATA HDD WD AV-GP family. This line includes 7 models with capacities ranging from 500 GB to 3 TB. The firmware of this model is optimized for digital video streaming recording in home video recorders, media centers, and professional surveillance systems. Equipped with an impressive 64 MB RAM buffer.

Supports the proprietary SilkStream technology, ensuring seamless recording of multiple video streams. Features moderate power consumption (no more than 5.3 W during intensive use) and a low noise level (maximum of 24 dB). IntelliPark and IntelliPower functions significantly reduce power consumption in idle (only 0.7 W). Remains operational over a wide temperature range, allowing use in systems with silent passive cooling.

The advanced firmware ensures uninterrupted 24/7 video recording from up to 12 HD-resolution cameras. The WD AV-GP WD10EURX hard drive with a capacity of 1000 GB allows for capturing up to 200 hours of high-definition video or 1000 hours of standard TV programs. Connects via the SATA3 interface with a bandwidth of up to 6 Gbps. Will easily fit into the configuration of a modern multimedia player for a home theater FullHD or UltraHD resolution.

Two months, flight normal :)

I've been using it for several months now, and no problems have been detected. I hope there won't be any, as I've always trusted WD. I can't comment on speed because I use it on an SSD for the system, and you know how fast those are.
There is a model with 4 terabytes! If only someone had told me about this earlier when I was using a 200 megabyte drive :) Not that I urgently need such volume now, but I got more out of greed :) It's good to have, free space is never excessive. A good manufacturer, I've used WD for many years, and never had any problems.
Noisier and hotter than many other less capacitive models. But everything still remains within the normal range.
use WD AV-GP month or more i recommend it should buy
