How to Choose a Well PumpGuide to choosing a well pump based on depth, water flow and basic technical characteristics.
Model overview based on user reviews
The Vodolej BCPE deep well pump has received mixed reviews from users. Some customers have had a positive experience, praising its silent operation, good pressure, and reliability. One user mentioned that their pump worked flawlessly for 14 years, while another appreciated its performance even under harsh conditions. However, there are significant concerns regarding the durability and construction of the pump. Some users reported that the pump's components, particularly the connection between the motor and the pumping part, failed after a short period, leading to costly replacements. Issues with the silumin bracket corroding and lack of warranty support were also highlighted. Overall, while some users are satisfied with the pump's performance, others caution potential buyers about possible defects and the absence of reliable customer service.

Money down the drain! Don't buy this trash!
25 April 2020
Think a thousand times!
None!
I bought a pump for 15 thousand and happily brought it home. I installed it and carefully lowered it into the well. The thing is, I work in well maintenance, and it's my profession, my livelihood (inspection, casing, washing, drilling, cementing, cleaning).

I turned on the pump in clean water but was happy with it for only 1 month. After a month, the water stopped coming. I lifted the pump and saw the following: the pumping part had separated from the motor. The pump consists of two parts: the upper pumping part and the lower motor. These parts are connected by a special silumin bracket, which corrodes after a month of use even in ordinary water! I called the manufacturer and asked them to make the bracket from brass, because brass is not silumin!

The manufacturer's representative was such a shameless person that he didn't even offer to replace the part and immediately expected me to pay for it. No warranty, there wasn't and never will be! DO NOT BUY THESE PUMPS!

In the end, I had to throw the pump away. A new pump. They still didn't sell me parts separately, even though I contacted the manufacturer in Kharkiv. "Vodoley" pump, centrifugal, submersible, 800 Watts. Well depth is 35 meters, water table is 25 meters.

Bitter experience
27 October 2015
I bought the Vodoley based on the advice of many users of these pumps. I'll share my bitter experience. I purchased a VODOLEY 0.5-50 pump according to the specifications. Imagine my surprise when, on the first immersion, this pump fell apart. We lowered the pump gently. At a depth of 15 m, the pump was working, at 24 m - it was working, at 30 m - it stopped working but was humming. We raised it to a mark of 24 m - it wasn't pumping but was humming, and then it went silent. When raising the pump from the well, I found no motor, only the top cap with the cable. So, for those who are interested, Vodoley has an interesting feature in attaching the motor and the upper hydraulic part with a so-called retaining ring (crimping). I contacted the service center; they were puzzled about how it could fall apart, didn't consider it a warranty case.
