I spent a long time choosing, but didn't want to overpay. I read many reviews about different coffee makers (they all break over time and nothing lasts forever) and I settled on the Vitek 1513. There are many different and quite contradictory opinions about it. Some people put it in a basin because it leaks, for others it broke right away. It seems to me that they read the instructions poorly or don't screw the holder properly, or maybe they just got unlucky. I am satisfied. According to the instructions, I rinsed the boiler and all removable parts before making coffee. The coffee turned out without a plastic smell (unlike some reviews), with a nice foam. I used inexpensive "BON AROMA" coffee. You can adjust the amount of coffee and water to your liking, which I like because I can control the strength of the coffee. It's hot enough. If you want it even hotter, don't start making coffee as soon as the green light comes on, wait a little. You can make two cups at once, which is very convenient. Affordable price and quality. Preparation for two mugs at once. Good coffee with thick foam The next portion of coffee can be prepared only after 5 minutes, inconvenient when there are many guests. the coffee maker is very easy to use. Coffee is brewed quickly, the only drawback is that it works loudly. cappuccino, espresso is excellent. I am satisfied with the purchase. friends highly recommend another coffee machine of around the same price, it brews 2 cups at once (although the coffee container isn't much bigger than the Vitek, so I'm not sure about the coffee strength). Heats water very quickly (literally 1.5-2 minutes), the water reservoir is large, and we refill it once every 3-4 days. The coffee turns out excellent (can't compare with a professional coffee maker priced at EUR 76 and above), but for home use, it's really good, with a very nice foam. The milk frother works great. We've tried various coffees, cheaper and more expensive, and settled on Jockey Classic coffee (green packaging). Before that, we used Jardin, but we liked Jockey more. The main downside, after a month of use, is that the handle where you pour the coffee has developed rust on the inside. However, the coffee does go into a removable filter which doesn’t touch the damaged surface, still, it's a concern. The service center on the manufacturer's website has poor support and couldn't properly answer technical questions, and they didn't even bother to reply to this issue. The noise level isn't extremely high, but it's noticeable. This coffee maker is designed for one cup, not for brewing two cups simultaneously. There are 2 spouts for the coffee to flow out from, but with the amount of coffee added, it doesn’t make two full cups.  Evgeniy: use Vitek VT-1513 few months |
