A small-sized and lightweight charger with an electronic inverter unit and a microprocessor control circuit for the charging process. Thanks to this design, the model is optimally suited for automatically charging any type of lead-acid battery (including glass cloth AGM and gel GEL batteries). The capacity of the battery being serviced must be in the range from 4 to 150 Ah. A charging current of up to 4 A is supplied to the battery terminals and is regulated automatically, and the procedure itself is carried out in three stages.

On the front panel of the device there are various indicators along with an info display. The main operating mode of the screen is to display the voltage at the battery terminals; it can also display the charging current in amperes. The power source for Vitals DS 1210A is a single-phase electrical network with an alternating voltage of 230 V - a non-removable cord for connecting to an outlet is taken out of one narrow end of the charger body. The opposite end contains power cable leads with alligator clips. The model has multi-level protection against electrical faults: short circuits, incorrect polarity connection, overload and overheating. An active cooling system is additionally installed inside the case.
