the disadvantages overshadowed all the advantages. Applies to all baths made of quaryl. After reading numerous advertising articles about Quaryl, the unique material from Villeroy & Boch, we chose a rather expensive bath from this manufacturer. It suited us in terms of design, and we believed in all these advantages of Quaryl. Already during the installation of the bath, we discovered a through crack on this mega-material - up to 7 cm on the inner side and about 15 cm on the outer side. The crack was very, very thin (thinner than a hair) and exactly under the protective film, so we didn't notice it during the initial inspection. Plus, we were so confident in this mega-cool durable material that our inspection upon receipt was relatively superficial, without removing all protective films. Since we noticed the crack not on the day we received it but later, they, of course, refused to replace it. At first, representatives of the company promised to come and conduct an examination and make a decision about the replacement for three weeks, but then they didn't even bother to come and briefly replied - it's not us, it's during transportation, and it is not subject to replacement. As a result, we suffered significant financial loss and didn't even have anyone to make claims to. |

We recommend
1. Quaryl is an absolutely unreliable and fragile material. When we tried to find at least someone who knew how to repair it, everyone almost accused us in unison – "So why did you choose this Quaryl, it's so unreliable. Didn't you know? You should have chosen an acrylic or cast-iron bathtub." After that, I started looking for forums, including those from other countries, and realized that we were not alone in facing this problem. This happens with Quaryl quite often, and I really regretted not finding such forums before buying. That's why I'm writing this review.
2. There is no official Villeroy&Boch representative in Ukraine. If something happens, there is absolutely no one to file complaints to. Even putting complaints aside, there isn't a single service center where they can repair it for you or at least advise you on how and where to repair the wonder material Quaryl. You're left alone with your problem.
