Viewsonic X100-4K
![]() |
An advanced LED home cinema projector capable of displaying over 1 billion colors in true 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels). The model deploys images on projection screens of caliber from 40 to 200 inches diagonally. The LED light source at the heart of the Viewsonic X100-4K design has a lifetime of over 30,000 hours and a high peak brightness of 2,900 LED lumens. The scaling and focusing drive of the model is motorized.
It also automatically adjusts lens shift and keystone correction within a range of 40° vertically. In order to improve the visibility of dark scenes, the model implements proprietary Dynamic Black technology, and the smooth rendering of highly dynamic scenes is provided by Frame Interpolation technology. Noise from the cooling fan "under the hood" of the device does not exceed 20 dB.
The operation of the projector can be controlled from a smartphone, incl. through voice commands through the virtual apprentices of Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The sound is supposed to be output to external acoustics, for which an optical audio output and a 3.5 mm mini-jack are provided. There are 4 HDMI ports in the interface shelf of the model. They are supplemented by one USB 3.0 and a VGA connector.

4K UHD projector "ViewSonic X100-4K" with LED-PHOSPHOR (HLD). The clear advantages of this projector for me are 4K (XPR), no color wheel, a second-generation 4-channel RGBB light source with a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, and real 1200 ANSI lumens (claimed 2900 LED lumens). The feature of lens shift significantly eases the projector's installation as it allows you to adjust the projection due to inaccuracies in the projector setup without losing image quality. Low noise level at 20 dB, with a maximum brightness of 23 dB. It provides 12 bits per channel for RGB, which adds up to a true 36 bits, offering more than a billion color shades and giving an incredible variety of color palette. This is really noticeable when I compare the image to my first LED projector "LG PF1500G." The "ViewSonic X100-4K" allows you to set a screen refresh rate of 120 hz at a 1080p resolution, which positively affects motion smoothness during PC gaming. However, there is a nuance: for full-fledged online shooters, the "Input Lag" will be high. For all other games, such as Days Gone, Far Cry, etc., everything is just wonderful. Since this system is used for long viewing of practically any content, games, YouTube, and other entertainment services, I can confidently say that it is a great replacement for a TV. The projector ensures long operational duration, sufficient brightness, and maximum user convenience. There are many of them. No. |
In my opinion, no TV can replace such a projector. Even on the largest diagonal, the content is of the highest quality. There is plenty of brightness for home use; it adjusts automatically, so you can safely use it even during the daytime. I output the sound to the soundbar, but I also checked the built-in speakers, they also sound high quality and loud. High image quality even on large screens. High brightness, suitable for daytime use. Quiet There are a lot of settings, both not so much and unnecessary |
Since I don’t really watch television programs at all, we decided to use a projector to replace the TV for our home theater. The projector itself is heavy, we hung it on the ceiling and broadcast it onto the canvas. The picture is excellent, it’s even quite pleasant to watch in the daytime. Switching on is quick without any downloads or waits. And the original speakers surprised me, they are powerful and give good bass, so far I don’t even think about buying anything else to improve the audio.
