I will NOT describe anything, I’ll just write down my experience. I’ve been using it for more than 5 years, after 2 years the drum became covered in dirt, and I got tired of washing it every 3 days, I already washed it once a week. And one day at the end of summer, when the device lay idle for a couple of months, I discovered that dirt can be removed much easier from a completely dry drum. I ran a thin screwdriver over all the blades and the vibrations caused a huge pile of sand to accumulate at the bottom. And then, as you work, the slurry disappears from it. So it turns out you don’t have to worry too much. BUT I never poured water from the tap, I always used filtered water and added shower gel a couple of times for cleaning, and many times while working fir for aroma. After 3 years I had to lubricate the motor 3 times. To do this, you need to drip a couple of oil cables onto the fingers rotating the drum. This should only be done when it tracks heavily. And if it just taps from time to time, then you need to either turn the top part 180*, or turn the drum itself. I always use it at speed 1, and even speed 2 wouldn’t hurt, I’m just too lazy to keep an eye on it now. I just pour water every 2 days and wash the bottom once a week. Something slippery always forms at the bottom and if you don’t clean it, it will turn yellow on white, I don’t know on black. I don’t regret that I bought it, of course there are analogues, but in terms of price they are not always cheaper, and in terms of design there is no device more reliable than this one. I bought it for 10-11k, recently I bought a faura tabletop sink, it’s 2 times cheaper, but it’s unlikely to last that long, so it doesn’t work for days. known It’s a pity that there are no air washers in the 6k area, only ultrasounds. Now it’s not even a car wash, but just a traditional one, they sell at high prices starting from 4K. I think this is a conspiracy, especially since the money goes nowhere. Just for the fact that for the first time in many years since purchasing the Venta, I've started to sleep and get rested, I'm ready to forget about the cost of this product. I'm sure that with a little effort, a similar device can be made at home. I simply bought it and am happy with it every day. It was bought for a room about 20 square meters just as the cold weather set in. I set a hygrometer separately: before turning on the Venta - 37%. By evening it had risen by a few percent, and by morning it was almost 50%. Now, more than two weeks later, with constant round-the-clock humidification at the lowest speed and a slightly open window (just a crack) - it doesn't drop below 50%. If the window is tightly closed, the humidity can easily reach 60%. On average, it stays at 50-55% in the room. Every winter I had a problem - dry skin, which made my whole body itch, especially my legs, and creams helped only for a few hours, and my face would flake, it was really a battle for moisture:). With the Venta, I've forgotten about it!!!!! For the first time! No dryness, no itching, and no flaking. And the most important thing is that for the third week I'm sleeping like a baby, closing my eyes at night and opening them in the morning; the sleep is quality, deep. Supplemental additives are included for adding to the water to prevent rot and improve the humidification of the rotating discs. Right now, I'm adding it once every two weeks (as per the instructions) when completely replacing the water. Later I'll just change the water more often or buy the additives. It's very easy to disassemble - Germans are Germans, everything is thought out and logical. Advantages: Very effective, absurdly simple and because of this it should probably be reliable, no consumables Disadvantages: Still, these clicks sometimes were not removed, although this can be treated within a few minutes (the instructions have already been described here), personally it does not bother me at all. i recommend it should buy |

"Washing" the air
Made in Germany, Venta devices are distinguished not only by their characteristic design and 10-year warranty. The company prefers cold evaporation of water over ultrasonic technology like most humidifier manufacturers. Her appliances are called air washers.
The fan draws air into the Venta LW15 and then it is passed through a drum that rotates in the water tank. As a result, the air is humidified and cleaned of small particles, including allergens and dust. Without the use of any special filters, and therefore the need to change or clean them. However it is required to wash the tank about once every two weeks, because dirt particles settle in it.
Benefits
Water in Venta devices evaporates naturally (without heating, etc.) and the humidity level in the room is maintained at 40-60% without the help of a hygrostat. The manufacturer claims that the cold evaporation method eliminates excessive humidification of the air in the room and the formation of white plaque. This is confirmed by the reviews for LW15. Also note that due to the special design of the device, the power consumption (3-4 W) is scanty, and in the night mode the noise from the operation of the device is barely audible (22 dB).
