Model overview based on user reviews
The V-MODA Crossfade Wireless headphones offer a unique blend of great sound quality and interesting design. Users appreciate the clear, accented sound with airy highs and detailed mids, making them ideal for genres like rock and classical music. The headphones perform even better when used with a cable, though they still deliver a commendable wireless experience, particularly with Apple devices due to AAC codec support. However, some users find the sound quality disappointing, describing it as a "complete hum and mess," especially at high volumes where sound leakage is noticeable. The headphones are noted for their sturdy construction but are considered heavy and non-foldable, with uncomfortable control buttons. Despite these drawbacks, the quality is seen as justifying the price, though the design may not appeal to everyone. Overall, they are a stylish accessory with mixed reviews on sound performance.

The case when the quality justifies the price.

Retro design a la 80s for an amateur, I like it. Tight, I would say, tight landing, but they will not fly off with a sharp movement.
Great sound. Rock, hard rock, classical sound great: clear, accented, but not boomy bass, airy highs and detailed mids, guitar and vocals are mesmerizing, very musical headphones. I won’t say anything about electronics - I didn’t listen. Even better with a cable, but even without it, the iPad is very worthy. Compared with the top wireless from AKG, DENON, Sennheiser is not in their favor.
Until they showed up. The only thing is, maybe they are a little heavier than we would like, but this is an objective necessity.
just bought V-MODA Crossfade Wireless  i recommend it should buy
In general, a beautiful accessory, but nothing more...

Interesting design, sturdy construction.
The sound is simply terrible, I couldn’t get used to it, and as a result I switched to Shura. A complete hum and mess, I tried all the options, including over the wire on professional studio equipment. It's all useless. Changing the volume also greatly affects the sound. The headphones are quite heavy and do not fold at all, and the control buttons are very uncomfortable. At high volumes, the music is clearly audible to others.

The model is a hybrid version of the famous Crossfade M 100 and in 2016 was in the TOP of the best wireless headphones according to user reviews.

Futuristic design

The V-MODA Crossfade line features a futuristic hexagonal bowl design. Interchangeable metal shells on the outer side are available in different colours and with 3D prints, which allows you to customize the headphones. The hard case looks no less futuristic and is somewhat reminiscent of a device from the Predator's arsenal from the film of the same name.

Soft leather ear cushions provide a snug and comfortable fit, and the wide headband is adjustable and extends almost the entire width without any problems, but the design itself does not rotate or fold. This is not a problem for wearing in a case, it is designed in a special way, but wearing the model around the neck will not be very convenient.

Connections and battery life

Since the headphones are hybrid, they come with a detachable audio cable, as well as a 3-button control for wireless connection. Bluetooth pairing works quite stably, and the sound quality "over the air" is almost as good as wired, especially when played on Apple devices, thanks to the support of their proprietary AAC codec.

The headphones work from the built-in battery without recharging up to 12 hours and this is, in general, a good result for a full-size model, which has 50 mm neodymium drivers with a sensitivity of 107 dB.

Sound

The sound of Crossfade Wireless is not only loud, but also rich in all frequencies claimed in the range of 5 – 30,000 Hz. The stage is bright, juicy, the bass is accentuated, not washed out, the highs are not cut off, and the middle allows you to fully enjoy the vocals, solo instruments and ensemble.

For their money (350 – 400 USD), in terms of sound quality, portability and ergonomics, V-MODA Crossfade Wireless is doing a good half of competitors from brands such as AKG or Sony. But lovers of the classics are unlikely to fit, due to too non-standard design.
