Model overview based on user reviews
The Ugreen HiTune Max5C headphones offer a mixed experience for users. On the positive side, they deliver sound quality comparable or slightly better than the Max5 and support sound transmission via USB-C, which is convenient. They are also priced lower than their predecessor, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. However, the build quality is a concern, as the materials feel cheaper compared to the Max5, with loosely secured hinges. Some users have reported poor sound quality despite using the LDAC codec, describing the audio as having excessive bass and screechy highs. While they outperform models like the Baseus Bowie D03, potential buyers should weigh the trade-offs between price and quality, and consider purchasing from platforms like AliExpress for better deals.
Pros
Cons
The sound is on par, or even slightly better than in Max5. Sound transmission via USB-C cable. Very convenient. The price is significantly lower than its predecessor. Build quality. It is inferior to the previous model here. When you hold them in your hands after the Max5, the materials feel a bit cheap. The hinges, for example, are loosely secured, whereas in the Max5, they are well secured. I do not recommend buying in Ukraine due to the high cost. It's better to purchase them on AliExpress - you will pay significantly less there. |
Connected using the LDAC codec. But there's no point in it. The sound is terrible. I've tried everything with the settings! They sound like they're playing from a pipe. Too much bass, the mids are awful, the highs are screechy. Enhancers and equalizers won't save it. It was born to crawl. And it won't fly! - I was such a fool when I bought them. |

To give you a sneak peek, I'll say that my favorite is still the Max5 model due to its superior build quality.
I can also compare them to the Baseus Bowie D03. The Ugreen HiTune Max5c is significantly better than the mentioned model from Baseus in all aspects.
