Professional router Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Router 7 for deploying public or office computer networks. This equipment was introduced by the American brand in 2025 and is a top-tier solution with a wide range of advantages for various use scenarios. Thanks to its powerful technical base (4-core processor at 1.5 GHz + 1.5 GB RAM) and modern technologies, the model supports more than 300 simultaneous connections and is compatible with both old and new generation gadgets.
The router supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard and provides data exchange speeds of 5700 Mbps in the 6 GHz band (4300 Mbps for 5 GHz, 688 Mbps for 2.4 GHz). Internet connection can be made through the standard WAN port at 2.5 Gbps speed, or directly via fiber optics through the SFP+ 10 Gbps connector. Further organization of the local network is possible both wirelessly and through 2.5 Gbps LAN ports, one of which supports PoE.
The router guarantees a coverage area of about 160 square meters with the help of an amplifier and 6 antennas. A unique feature of the equipment is centralized management of other devices (access points, surveillance cameras, security sensors, etc.) using proprietary software. Settings and control are carried out remotely or locally via Bluetooth. The router includes 64 GB of built-in memory and a MicroSD card slot for creating public local or cloud storage. Among other features is its own security system to prevent intrusions. Top-tier solution, supports over 300 simultaneous connections, Wi-Fi 7 standard, data exchange speeds of up to 5700 Mbps, wide coverage area of about 160 square meters with 6 antennas, centralized management with proprietary software, and robust security system.

The main task was to get only 2.5Gbit ports and WiFi 7.
Task accomplished. I can't say everything has gotten better yet, basically nothing has changed, same home, same devices, same router location. All clients are maximum 2x2. It's just that on Samsung with WiFi 7 in the farthest room, +50Mbps.
Visually, this one is more interesting, especially that tiny display; you start torrenting and watch the provider earn their money. Very compact size. Lower price. A lot more configuration options. I finally understood why the backup line didn't work properly on Asus before, so I had to change the accompanying hardware. Proprietary software allows for much more professional setup.
