Model overview based on user reviews
The TOPEX 79R132 tool box is highly regarded for its good useful volume and sturdy plastic construction, featuring aluminum latches that enhance durability. Users appreciate the spacious organizers for small items, although some noted minor burrs on the edges after stamping. Compared to more expensive alternatives, this model offers a larger useful volume and sturdier feel. The box includes a removable tray and a lid organizer, making it convenient for storing various tools and small parts. Despite the plastic hinges, the box remains robust without becoming flimsy. Overall, the TOPEX 79R132 is a reliable and well-constructed tool box that effectively organizes tools and accessories.
Pros
Cons
I was choosing between this toolbox and a more expensive Stanley of the same size. I made up my mind when I went to the store and felt them in person. This one seemed bigger, with more useful volume, and the plastic felt sturdier. As practice shows, the weakest part of such toolboxes is the locks, which tend not to hold over time; aluminum locks solve this problem. There's a hole to hang a padlock. The organizers in the top part are also quite spacious, but you should consider that when you open it, everything inside will rattle. Similar toolboxes are usually not suitable for use without a cross inner insert (organizer with a handle) because it acts as a reinforcing insert, but this one can be carried without it, and the box doesn't become flimsy. The hinges are plastic; I don't think this is an issue, but time will tell. After purchase, there was no strange odor. – good useful volume – sturdy plastic, no flimsy parts – aluminum latches – good organizers for small items – there were small burrs on the edges after stamping |
Over time, tools accumulated, and because. there are no shelves on the balcony, so it had to be stored in different places, which is not very convenient, you need to look for the necessary tools in different places. I decided to take such a box in order to organize everything in one place, I just took the first one that came to hand in the store and it turned out to be model 79R133. In principle, you can’t say much about the box - it’s solidly made, the walls do not bend rather thick plastic, the latches work like ordinary hooks, sometimes you need to direct them, it’s not always possible to just throw them on and close them. There are quite a lot of places, the only thing that I didn’t fit there was a saw and a gun for silicone, inside there is a removable tray where there is a compartment for bits and for small parts, I probably didn’t use it, I immediately removed it so that it doesn’t take up space. An organizer for small parts is very conveniently made in the lid, I threw bags with nails and all sorts of screws there, by the way, there are even loops for a small lock if you are going to store gold bars or bundles of money there. In general, the box is excellent, I recommend it. Big, comfortable, good quality No |
