Praktik IRP 80 V is made in a classic design, with white coloring and is designed to work only in a vertical position. The control panel is located on the lower end of the boiler and "looks" down, not forward. It has two buttons to turn on the heating elements, as well as a rotary knob to select the temperature. Perhaps, someone will find the placement of controls below not very convenient. But on the other hand, the appearance of the boiler is very neat, without details that catch the eye.

Corrosion protection

The capabilities of this unpretentious model correspond to its cost (less than $200). You should not expect from her "chips" like an intelligent mode of operation. At the same time, Thermex performs its basic task in accordance with the technical data. The high power of the device (2.5 kW) is provided by two heating elements (1.5 + 1.0 kW). The equipment does not have a magnesium anode that prevents the formation of scale on the heating element. But you can get out of this situation if you do not heat the water to the maximum temperature (in this case, scale will form much more slowly). Under such conditions, the IRP 80 V can also be used with hard water, but at the same time, a family of three will not be able to wash one after another.

Also note that the manufacturer's package includes basic components for installation: a power cord, mounting anchors and a safety valve. And the RCD (residual current device) is responsible for the safety against possible "leaks" of the current.
